All glory to God. All hail King Jesus.
What is the gospel? The good news in two minutes
Gospel means good news. Here it is, unfiltered.
1. God is holy
He made you, He knows you, and He is perfectly good and perfectly just. (Genesis 1:27, Isaiah 6:3)
2. We are not
Every one of us has sinned. Lied, lusted, hated, lived for ourselves. Sin isn’t a slip-up. It’s rebellion against God, and it cuts us off from Him.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23
“The wages of sin is death.” Romans 6:23
3. Jesus came for us
God didn’t leave us there. Jesus, God the Son, became a man and lived the sinless life we never could. Then He died on the cross in our place and took the punishment we deserved.
“God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
4. He rose
On the third day Jesus walked out of the grave, alive. Sin and death lost. (1 Corinthians 15:3–4)
5. It’s a gift
You can’t earn it, work for it or clean yourself up enough for it.
“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.” Ephesians 2:8
“The free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23
6. Your response
Turn from your sin and put your trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior.
“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9
Whoever comes to Him, He will never turn away. (John 6:37)
New life starts now
Talk to God. Read the Bible, starting with the Gospel of John. Find a church that teaches it, and ask about baptism (Matthew 28:19). If you just gave your life to Jesus, tell someone. We’d love to hear it too: message us on Instagram.

How to share the gospel No script. No pressure. Start here.
You don’t need a seminary degree. You need to know Jesus and open your mouth.
“I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.” Romans 1:16
1. Pray first
Ask God for open doors and the boldness to walk through them. (Colossians 4:3, Ephesians 6:19) He does the saving. You’re the messenger. (1 Corinthians 3:6)
2. Live it loud
People read your life before they read your Bible. (Matthew 5:16) Wear the shirt. When someone asks about it, that’s your open door.
3. Ask, then listen
“What do you think happens after we die?” “Who do you think Jesus is?” Questions open conversations. Lectures shut them down. Answer “with gentleness and respect.” (1 Peter 3:15)
4. Tell your story
Who you were, how you met Jesus, what changed. Keep it short and honest. (Mark 5:19)
5. Give them the gospel
God is holy. We have sinned. Jesus died for our sins and rose again. Turn from sin and trust Him. Four verses from the Romans Road lay it out: Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, Romans 5:8 and Romans 10:9. Walk through them here.
6. Ask for a response
“Is anything stopping you from trusting Jesus today?” If they’re ready, pray with them right there.
7. Leave the results to God
Not everyone will say yes, and that’s not on you. Stay faithful, follow up, invite them to church and keep loving them.

Share it through your shirt
When someone asks about your shirt, here's a simple way in.
-
Hope In JesusRomans 15:13
- If someone asks
- “It's about where my hope is. Everything else I've leaned on has let me down at some point. Jesus hasn't.”
- The gospel in one breath
- We've all sinned against a holy God, and we can't fix that on our own. Jesus died for our sin and rose again, so anyone who trusts Him is forgiven and gets a hope that holds.
- Then ask
- “Where do you put your hope right now?”
-
All Hail King JesusPhilippians 2:9–11
- If someone asks
- “It says Jesus is King. Not just a good teacher, but the one every knee will bow to someday.”
- The gospel in one breath
- The King came to serve. He gave His life for people who ignored Him, then rose from the dead. He doesn't ask us to clean ourselves up first, just to turn from our sin and trust Him.
- Then ask
- “Who do you think Jesus is?”
-
DiscipleMark 1:17
- If someone asks
- “A disciple is someone who follows Jesus. When He called His first disciples, they dropped their nets and went. That’s what I want my life to look like.”
- The gospel in one breath
- Following Jesus starts with what He did, not what we do. He died for our sins and rose again, and He still says ‘Follow me’ to anyone who will turn and trust Him.
- Then ask
- “If Jesus said ‘follow me’ to you, what would hold you back?”
-
Jesus Loves You1 John 4:10
- If someone asks
- “It means exactly what it says. And I mean you, not people in general.”
- The gospel in one breath
- God didn't wait for us to love Him first. He sent His Son to die for our sins, then raised Him from the dead. That's how we know His love is real: He proved it at the cross.
- Then ask
- “Has anyone ever told you that and meant it?”
-
Consider the Wild FlowersLuke 12:22–34
- If someone asks
- “Jesus told worried people to look at the wildflowers. God dresses them in beauty, and you matter way more to Him than they do.”
- The gospel in one breath
- Our biggest need isn't food or clothes, it's being made right with God. Jesus paid for our sin on the cross and rose again, so we can trust Him with everything else too.
- Then ask
- “What's been weighing on you lately?”
